Chamonix village is a prestigious French alpine town steeped in history with the awe inspiring Monte Bianco and jagged glaciers. All of us enjoy going parapenting or even eating out. I normally fly from Easton and stay at a Chamonix catered chalet during my break.
I used to stayed in Georgian Hotel however it rarely met the standards of its its advert: This Art Deco hotel sits in front of the Pacific Ocean, a short walk from Third Street Promenade, and approximately 8 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, fitness room, concierge, and parking area ($21 overnight and $9 visitor). Room service is available. Other services include valet laundry, shoe shine, and Wednesday evening reception.
However in Chamonix France the hotel is always excellent. As well eating out in my families’ favorite restaurant, Fat Chesters, eating key lime hollandaise sauce is a memorable experience. Chamonix Mont Blanc France is a large enough town to guarantee that there is lots of things for the visitor to do. With a cross country skiing track and a plethora of shops, Chamonix offers a choice of climbing, French alpine charm and sightseeing which barely any ski resorts can hope to rival.
